HTC Vive Visual Reality Launched In India

HTC has launched its much-awaited Vive VR headset in India. Priced at a hefty Rs 92,990, the device is exclusive to Amazon and will go on pre-order starting April 22. It will also be available for in-store experience (through interactive demonstration stations) across selected stores in the country.

As part of the introductory offer, the company is offering free shipping and two full-fledged VR experiences (Mount Everest VR and Richie's Plank) to customers.

The Vive VR has a 110-degree field of view and the Vive base stations can track the movements of users. The package also includes a Vive Link Box and a pair of Vive earbuds.

HTC's VR headset includes a front-facing camera that makes the users aware of the objects in front of them. The wireless controllers further come with haptic feedback and dual-stage triggers.
